The present LETZFIXYOURBIKE terms and conditions apply to any purchase of bicycle repair or maintenance services (subscriptions), including the bicycle parts and accessories required to carry out these repair services, made by a customer on the letzfixyourbike.com website. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an Order on the website. By accessing the site and placing an Order, you accept without reservation the provisions of the General Conditions and any general conditions of use of our website.
Legal information
These Terms and Conditions are issued by LETZFIXYOURBIKE, whose registered office is located at 9 rue Ludwig van Beethoven L-1224 Luxembourg. LETZFIXYOURBIKE is the brand name of independent craftsman Philippe Lutz, registered with the Luxembourg Chamber of Trades N-66077-1, VAT number LU34727283.
Contract duration
Once the Individual Customer has subscribed to one of the memberships, the duration of the contract will be 12 months or 365 days. The contract will not be automatically renewed at the end of the 12-month period. The contract may not be terminated before the end of the 12-month period, except in the event of moving out of Luxembourg City, in which case 2 months’ notice must be given.
Subscription
When subscribing to a package, we define an intervention as: a trip to the customer’s premises requiring less than one hour’s labor time to repair one or more mechanical/electrical components on your bike(s). For example, if it is necessary to repair a puncture and change the worn chain, this will be considered a single operation if the repair time is less than 1 hour.
Under normal circumstances, a maintenance or overhaul service will not exceed 1 hour and will be considered as such as part of a fixed price. If, during an overhaul, it proves necessary to change a worn part or carry out a repair, and if the entire operation does not exceed 1 hour, a single intervention will be deducted as part of a fixed price.
Quote
The Customer may obtain a free estimate of the services to be carried out on his bike, including by telephone. LETZFIXYOURBIKE shall not be bound by this quotation in the event of error or omission, in particular by the Customer, concerning the characteristics or condition of his bicycle. However, for certain breakdowns, an electrical or mechanical diagnosis may be necessary, requiring a visit to the home in order to determine the source of the fault and then draw up the estimate : this specific trip will be invoiced (minimum €15).
Terms and conditions
- LETZFIXYOURBIKE reserves the right to refuse to perform any Service if it cannot be performed in accordance with the rules of the trade.
- LETZFIXYOURBIKE accepts no responsibility for the loss, damage or theft of items carried with the cycle, excluding equipment and accessories incorporated into the cycle.
LETZFIXYOURBIKE reserves the right to modify the General Terms and Conditions at any time. The applicable General Terms and Conditions are those in force and available on the site on the day the Order is placed by the Customer.
